Nomenclature

Table – The gaming surface you use to play on.  With MSN, it specifically means a 3’x3’ board so that it can be used as movement tool.

Board – Same as table.

Niyen – Your Table and all the adjacent tables.  9 potential tables

Baseline – Your edge of the table or the edge that resupply comes from.

Entrench – Prepared ground, whether minor and temporary (foxholes) or major (trenches)

ABOUT THIS ARTICLE

MSN is not a stand-alone game and requires “Nuts!” from THW to play.

This is a fan based rule-set that THW did not wish to publish because NUTS! is squad based game, not a company based game and is more a wargame than an RPG.  This book, though not exclusively those things, is not the direction NUTS! will officially go.  However, Ed has allowed me to release this as a non-sanctioned free expansion.

This book makes reference to All Things Terrain article also on this website.
